MISO Chip
The project
MISO Chip aims to reinvent the approach to cancer care with a predictive test designed to help doctors and their patients with cancer choose the best treatment before the treatment even begins. Our task was to create a platform enabling research staff to securely and anonymously enter medical data. The healthcare professionals involved in data entry faced a complex and non-standardized task that varied from one center to another. The development of a web platform with a secure database, allowing for the efficient and reliable collection and storage of confidential medical information, facilitates data management while ensuring the protection of patients' sensitive information.
The challenges
Data protection is essential in all sectors, but it is of even greater importance when dealing with sensitive information such as that collected and shared in MISO Chip’s research. To ensure confidentiality, adopting best practices in software engineering is imperative. This includes implementing strict mechanisms governing access to the platform and sensitive information. Additionally, the integration of advanced technologies for secure authentication, database access management, and user permissions is crucial to ensuring data security.
Web

Data Extraction and Analysis
The platform’s goal is to efficiently extract data while considering the technical complexity of this task. The extraction aims to produce actionable insights, ready for meaningful analysis. To achieve this, it is essential to design robust processes that not only retrieve the data but also structure it in a way that facilitates analysis and supports informed decision-making.
