For several months (even years), we've been talking about the Couche-Tard Connecté project. Thanks to the mobile application and visual recognition powered by AI, Couche-Tard customers visiting the McGill University branch no longer need to go through the cashier for their purchases.

They enter the store, select the desired items, scan their mobile device at the NFC kiosk after entering their payment method on the Couche-Tard mobile application. And then, they can leave. The bill is then directly transmitted to them on the application.

The concept, which was previously only tested in a limited section of the store, has proven itself over the past few years and is now integrated into the entire store.
